Robin Hillenbrink – Chairman
Hi everyone, my name is Robin and I’m 20 years old. My hobbies include Netflix, going out, visiting concerts, not exercising and of course reading. Besides being a second-year literary student, I am also in my third year of Philosophy. So if you ever want to discuss the big questions of life, you will know where to find me. I look forward to meeting you all and hope you will have a good time in Utrecht!
Sanne Goedegebuure – Secretary
Hi everyone, Sanne your new secretary here! My latest life motto has been “better late than never” (also applicable to me starting as secretary in November), but of course I’ll make an exception when it comes to my new board duties. Other things you need to know about me? I always have my multitool with me, I’m an expert in finding the beginning of a roll of tape and I know a lot of useless facts. (Do you know how fast a moose can run? Because for some reason I do.) Of course, I also love reading (and selling!) books, but I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t.

Willem van Amsterdam – Treasurer
Hi, I’m Willem and I am the treasurer of Euphorion for this year. However the title makes me feel like a pirate, my role is more like bookkeeping and coincounting. Not the most epic thing to do, I guess, but luckily I got Homer on my shelf to keep me entertained. Well, c’était la, as we say in Dutch, so I will quit this awkward ego-document and hope I will see you this year!
Evi Verleije – Commissioner of Internal Affairs
Hey! I’m Evi, 19 years old and a second-year literature student. I spend way too much time on social media where I am always searching for cool art projects and inspiration for my own creative interests. My ‘addiction’ to Instagram is pretty useful for my function this year, as I will be in charge of the website and social media (yay!). This summer you could find me at festivals armed with my disposable camera and at the beach because my parents live 5 minutes away from the beach (double yay!). I am not just a fan of literature so in order to keep all my interests satisfied I will be following a minor in media and culture. Ps. You can ALWAYS wake me up for ABBA because I am a true Dancing Queen. Groetjes!
Cynthia van Tongeren – Commissioner of Public Relations
Hey! My name is Cynthia and next year I will be the commissioner of public relations as a 23-year-old third-year student of the Bachelor Literature studies. This means that I will be primarily involved in all education-related issues, books, and the bookstore Savannah Bay. So if you have any questions about any of this you can approach me; as well as about questions on further years of your studies, since I’m (hopefully) almost finished. Besides literature, I also follow a Bachelor of French. I am the ultimate overachiever and have therefore practically no social life, as befits a good literature nerd, haha.
