Ruben van Vessem – Chair
Hello all you lovely people, my name is Ruben. I’m a board member of Euphorion, occupying the position of chair, not table. My hobbies include reading books (suprising), going on dates and enjoying good weather by taking long bike rides and of course, sitting on trains. My dream is to become a literary scholar and/or novelist, but ending up as a reality TV star is plan B.
Chloë Stol – Secretary
Hi! I am Chloë and this year I will be the secretary of Euphorion. I am 22 years old and am in my second year of Literary Studies. When it’s nice weather, I spend most of my days outside, either hiking or gardening. And I love losing myself in a book after a long day. As secretary I am in charge of reading all the emails, making sure that every member gets their Euphorion card and taking notes of the meetings. I look forward to meeting you all and to having a good time at the Euphorion activites.
Tim Kramer – Treasurer
Hey everyone! I’m Tim, a third year student in Literary Studies and Artifical Intelligence. As the Treasurer of Board XV, I’ll make sure our finances are in perfect shape. Counting cash and organizing receipts will be part of the job, but rest assured, I’m (hopefully?) not as boring as that might make it sound.
When I’m not busy balacing the books, you’ll find me lost in a good book or film, or whipping up delicious dishes in the kitchen. I can’t wait to see all of you at the next Euphorion event! <3
Anekža Dvořáková – Commissioner of PR
Hey! Meet me, Anekža, this year’s Commissioner of PR, so I’ll be taking care of Euphorion’s socials! I’m 21, coming from the Czech Republic and I’ll be in my third year but I’ll be taking less courses to focus properly on (not only) Euphorion! My favorite thing to do is find cool spots to read at (especially in the middle of nowhere), going on 180 km hikes, and romanticise my (and people’s) life! And I’m really excited to enjoy some nice time with our community of readers the following year!! Love, Anekža <3
Meltem Gencer – Secretary of PR
Hello! My name is Meltem Gencer, and I am in my second year of Literary Studies as well as being Secretary of PR for Euphorion. I am 19 years old and enjoy all things art and music as well as reading a nice book. I will mostly be writing the newsletters, working on the website, taking care of the PR emails and working alongside our Commissioner of PR to deliver messages to you about events, keeping up with our Instagram and more! Looking forward to seeing you all in activities!
